A law firm says British actress Kate Winslet has split from her husband, film director Sam Mendes. Schillings says that the 34-year-old Oscar-winning actress has just separated from Mendes earlier this year.
The split was "entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement", a statement made by the law firm.
"Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children," they added.
Winslet married Mendes, Oscar-winning film director of "American Beauty" in 2003.
